Lecture: “Innocence Lost in Transformation” by Vuk Ćosić
The information society ushered by the Internet has changed its aroma from a space of freedom to a space of surveillance and fear. The nostalgic talk is a first-person account of the nineties’ net.art scene with examples of artworks from the “community of practice” that existed in Europe at the time. The self-aggrandizing talk, on the other hand, explains the ethical survival tactics for avant-garde artists in the digital sphere. Big words.
